Could it be that my gr gr grandfather, Alexander McAuley, born 1798, is one of his siblings.
Down the generations, we are all catholics.
I dont have much more information except that one ofhis children was Patrick, born 1851 Waterfoot and he emigrated to England, Liverpool.
